Today was a Thursday, which means 30+ preschoolers for lunch and recess. It was also a rainy day, thus we must endure that chaos that is...indoor recess. *Shudder*
Them boys be crazy. Poor little dudes NEED the outdoors. I intercepted several incidences today.
Giant legos being used as guns.
Giant legos being used as swords.
Giant legos being used as a generic hitting device to gang up on a "bad guy" aka another student.
I contemplated the pros and cons of letting them use the giant legos.
I confiscated a majority of the giant legos.
This led to the tiny little men resembling tiny little wrestlers and myself resembling a very flustered referee.
Last, but certainly not least, I saved a child from being stuffed into a toy container while other children were sitting on the lid. Twice.
I am SO excited for many more months of indoor recess.
